  • SIGAS Attends Norway–China Green Transition & Maritime Forum, Sharing Innovative Marine Exhaust Monitoring Solutions
    May 07, 2026
Recently, the Norway–China Green Transition & Maritime Forum grandly kicked off in Shanghai. SIGAS was honoured to be invited to this influential industry event. Mr. He Yingjie, Director of the Marine Business Unit, delivered an insightful keynote speech, introducing the innovative solutions of SIGAS in the field of marine exhaust emission monitoring. He also engaged in in-depth discussions with industry leaders on cutting-edge green maritime technologies, exploring new pathways for the low-carbon transformation of the shipping industry.     Hosted by the Royal Norwegian Consulate General in Shanghai, the Norwegian Business Association China, Innovation Norway and Climate Lighthouse, and supported by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Beijing and Shanghai Climate Week, the forum serves as a high-level dialogue platform focusing on green transition, with a special focus on maritime decarbonisation and ocean-related solutions. As one of the highest-standard and most influential thematic conferences between China and Norway in the field of green shipping and low-carbon transition in recent years, it has gathered elites from all walks of life, including senior government representatives from both countries, experts from the International Maritime Organization, and decision-makers of top global shipping enterprises, to conduct in-depth discussions on core topics such as the development path of green shipping technology, carbon emission monitoring, and the commercial application of zero-carbon fuels, so as to consolidate industry consensus and promote industrial upgrading.     At the forum, Mr. He shared in-depth insights based on the company’s rich practical experience and successful track record in marine carbon monitoring.   🎤 Keynote Speech & In-depth Technical Exchange     In his speech, Mr. He illustrated the core features and outstanding advantages of SIGAS’s marine exhaust monitoring solutions through successful project cases in Norway. With professional technical interpretation and industry-oriented practical experience, his presentation drew wide attention and positive responses from the audience. After the speech, Mr. He held in-depth exchanges and interactions with many guests on technical challenges and application scenarios, achieving fruitful communication results for mutual benefit and industry consensus.       Centering on the theme of "Green Shipping", the forum addressed the pain points and opportunities of global shipping decarbonisation. Highly aligned with the forum’s focus, SIGAS’s presentation fully demonstrated the company’s solid technical strength in marine exhaust monitoring, while accurately meeting the core demands of shipowners, shipyards and operators. The core value of SIGAS’s solutions is reflected in four key aspects:    - 🌿 Full Compliance Assurance: High-precision monitoring data fully meets international and domestic regulations including IMO and EU ETS, effectively helping customers avoid penalties, detention and other compliance risks and ensuring the normal operation of ships. - 🌿 Cost Reduction & Efficiency Improvement: Optimise marine combustion efficiency to lower fuel consumption and equipment maintenance costs, maximizing operational benefits for customers. - 🌿 Valuable Data Assets: Supporting 5-year data storage and automatic generation of IMO standard reports, providing scientific and accurate data support for marine carbon trading and regulatory declaration, turning data into core assets.   - 🌿 Intelligent Operation & Maintenance: Equipped with unattended operation and self-diagnosis functions, greatly reducing manual O&M input, lowering labor costs for O&M, and improving O&M efficiency and stability.   Far beyond a simple "monitoring tool", SIGAS’s solutions act as a strategic partner empowering customers to achieve green transition, enhance operational efficiency and seize opportunities in the low-carbon era.   Being invited to attend and speak at the forum fully demonstrates SIGAS’s technical prowess and international influence in the marine gas monitoring sector.
